New Delhi: Amidst the worldwide coronavirus and lockdown, thousands of Indians have trapped abroad who want to come to their country. The work of bringing back the stranded Indians has started since Thursday. Late in the night, the first aircraft carrying people from Abu-Dhabi reached Kochi Airport. First of all, let us tell you that this Mahabhaian has been named Vande Bharat Mission. Even today, five Air India aircraft will return to the country carrying civilians stranded abroad. 

The plane left from Dhaka for Srinagar

Vande Bharat Mission: Air India aircraft from Dhaka (Bangladesh) has flown to Srinagar. Indian High Commission in Bangladesh informed about this.

Aircraft returned to Delhi stranded Indians in Singapore 

One of the Air India planes flown to bring back the Indian nationals stranded has returned to Delhi with passengers. According to the information, the aircraft landed at 11.20 minutes. The rest of the aircraft will arrive at India’s airports late evening from Bangladesh and some countries in the Middle East.

Operation Samudra Setu in the Maldives 

Indian Navy’s amphibious warship INS Jalashwa is in full swing preparing to bring back around 750 Indian civilians. These people will be sent back home to Kochi under Operation Samudra Setu. According to regular updates posted by the High Commission of India on its official Twitter page in the Maldives, passengers are going through the necessary procedures at Velana Airport.

Kenyan citizens stranded in Hyderabad will be sent home

A special flight took place on Thursday of 32 Kenyan nationals stranded in Hyderabad due to a nationwide coronavirus lockdown. A special passenger relief flight of Indigo Airlines operated to bring back some Kenyan citizens of Hyderabad City. The aircraft took passengers to Mumbai, where they are to be airlifted ahead of Kenya by Kenya Airways.

An Indigo flight, which operates as a purely domestic flight 6 E 9104 – will arrive at Bangalore International Airport from Chennai at 9.20 a.m. today. The aircraft will leave for Mumbai with 83 Kenyan nationals at 11.02 a.m., with 32 passengers from Hyderabad and 51 transit passengers from Chennai and Bangalore. The total number of passengers is 83.
