Regardless of the pressure from the government, the technology giants are in no rush to revive the moribund economy. These companies are no longer speedy to get their employs back in the office rather, rather wanting their staff to continue working from home up until next year.
In places like Washington, the companies like Facebook and Google have come up with a proposal for their employees to continue with their work from home jobs, remotely up until next year. Amazon opined its employees to stay at home and work until October.
Microsoft kept it optional for most its employees to continue working from home till October, though it might allow some of its employees who would voluntarily return to their work places in stages. On the other hand, companies like Twitter have given up, altogether, insisting their employees to work from home forever.
Tech companies are well adapted to permit remote work as many of these tasks require computer and little else.
