(Kajal Singh intern journalist): In pre-open trade, the market was visible with mixed signals, but the market has been successful in coming to the green mark at the time of opening.
New Delhi: Today Asian markets are seeing a good boom and based on this, there was a hope of opening the Indian market at a good level. Although the domestic stock market declined in pre-open trade and the Sensex slipped in the red mark, the Nifty was seen in the green mark. On the other hand, the US market saw a downward trend yesterday and Dow Jones saw tremendous low levels.
How open market
In today’s trading, the Sensex was trading 108.87 points, or 0.36 percent, at 30,305.04. At the same time, the 50-share index Nifty of NSE was trading at 8,917.05 with a gain of 37.95 points i.e. 0.43 percent.
What is the status of Nifty
Out of 50 stocks of the Nifty, 39 stocks were seen rising and 11 stocks were trading with a decline. Among the rising stocks, UPL was trading 3.44 percent, L&T 2.40 percent, G Ltd 2.23 percent, and ITC 1.94 percent. Bharti Airtel was trading up 1.85 percent.
Nifty falling stocks
Looking at the falling stock of Nifty, Bharti Infratel has lost 1.76 percent and Hero MotoCorp has fallen 1.73 percent. Wipro is down by 0.81 percent, IndusInd Bank is trading 0.8 percent and Coal India is trading at 0.73 percent.
A market condition in pre-open
Today, the movement of the Indian market in pre-open trade was seen to be sluggish and business was being done with mixed trade. The Sensex was trading 61.30 points, or 0.20 percent, down at 30,134 and the Nifty was trading up 9 points at 8888.
State of Asian markets
Looking at today’s Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei was trading at a rapid pace of 0.66 percent and the Taiwan market was registering a growth of about half a percent. Hong Kong’s Hangsang looked compulsive and Korea’s Kospi was also doing good business.
US market saw a downward trend yesterday
The US market closed yesterday with a fall and the Dow Jones was down by about 400 points. Apart from this, the S&P 500 index was witnessing a decline of 1 percent in US markets.
