(Kajal Singh intern journalist): The Jammu and Kashmir government has approved the formation of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force to respond to Pakistan’s nefarious act of airing terrorism by supplying narcotics from across the border.
Jammu: After Operation All Out for the elimination of terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir, now the state government has approved the formation of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force for the final assault on this terrorism. This force has been formed to break the back of a syndicate that fuelled terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir through narcotics from across the border.
The Jammu and Kashmir government has approved the formation of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force to respond to Pakistan’s nefarious act of airing terrorism by supplying narcotics from across the border. The need of a special force to break the drug supply side in the state, to take strict legal action against the people who supply this drug, as well as to investigate the cases of drugs, was felt for a long time because Pakistan was constantly trying to keep the last breathless terrorism alive by supplying narcotics.
According to the Anti-Narcotics Task Force IG Manish Kishore Sinha, this force will not only deal with cases of narcotics but will also collect information in respect of the same. The 100 officers and jawan involved in this force will be trained only to deal with narcotics. According to the Anti-Narcotics Task Force, the big fish that are in the narco-terrorism will be caught comfortably after the formation of this force.
According to him, in Narcotics money transaction takes place on a very large scale and people are more attracted towards it in the greed to earn so much money. Any person gets involved in this work very quickly because there are many means of earning in it and the big fish which are so far in it that these people who come to earn money, they do not have access to them. Due to the distance between these people who have come to earn money from the supplier and no evidence is found against the big fish and in such a situation the challenge is to catch these small fish and reach those big fish.
Experts believe that the need for this force was felt for a long time because the dimensions of narco-terrorism have changed a lot. Defense expert Captain (Retd) Anil Gaur believes that the terrorists are earning money by selling this supply of drugs from across the border and at the same time they are attracting them to terrorism by putting this drug into the youth. According to him, the way the NIA is keeping an eye on hawala transactions, now Pakistan has started sending narcotics directly so that it does not get caught in the investigation.
Defense experts believe that after the formation of this force, it will directly affect Pakistan because Pakistan is promoting terrorism through narcotics. According to him, if the supply of narcotics is stopped, it will have a direct impact not only on terrorism but also on drug addiction. Along with this, the support of the underground workers to the terrorists was also affected, because often underground workers work with the terrorists in lieu of drugs.
With this, it will also be difficult for terrorists to attract youth to terrorism without getting intoxicated. The force claims that no action can be taken against those who are running this business from across the border to fuel terrorism. But, his people who are sitting in Jammu and Kashmir, who are working at his behest. Legal action can be taken against them
