Lucknow News: CM Yogi paid tribute to Guru Tegh Bahadur, said – sacrificed everything to protect the country
Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has described the Sikh society, Guru Tegh Bahadur has given everything to protect the country and religion, as a great inspiration for the society. He has said that the pure devotional stream that Guru Nanak Dev had flowed, whenever the country, society, and religion needed it, it did not take long to become a revolution.
The sacrifices of Sikh Gurus inspire us to keep intact our religion, our culture, tradition, and the integrity of the nation. While expressing his reverence to the Sikh Gurus in a program organized at Raj Bhavan to commemorate the 401st Prakash Parv of the ninth Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the Chief Minister also expressed his devotion to the Sikh society, tradition of sacrifice, devotion to religion and service towards the society. Praised.
Congratulating everyone on the occasion of the 401st Prakash Parv of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji in the presence of Governor Anandiben Patel, CM Yogi also expressed anger over the Sikh tradition not getting its proper place in history. He said that today we are reaching Mars. Talking about the Internet of Things, the world has progressed a lot with artificial intelligence, but we also have to remember our history, because no society can ever progress by forgetting history.
The CM said that the history of Sikh Gurus reminds us of the glorious victory of India. The Chief Minister said that when we visit Shrikashi Vishwanath, we also remember Maharaja Ranjit Singh, who decorated the temple with gold. Maharaja Ranjit Singh, his descendants, or any Sikh brother never claimed that we have gilded this temple. This feeling of gratitude is inspiring.
The Chief Minister also reminded everyone of the adverse circumstances of the independence period amidst the spiritual atmosphere that took place in the Raj Bhavan premises after the Gurbani recitation. He said that Guru Tegh Bahadur sacrificed himself for the cause of Kashmiri Pandits, to protect the unity of the nation and religion. Gurus taught us to be afraid and not to be intimidated. Taught me to fight for my self-respect.
Addressing the Sikh brothers, the Chief Minister said that the way we are doing all the programs here today without fear and gaiety is it possible that similar programs should be held in Nankana Sahib and Kabul, etc. This fearless, non-discriminatory society is the inspiration of our gurus. We all have to stand united to protect it.
Inspirational to celebrate Veer Bal Diwas in memory of Sahibzadas: The Chief Minister said that four Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh Ji had sacrificed themselves for the country and religion. The sacrifice of Sahibzadas can never be forgotten. If history instills a sense of pride in us, it also inspires us to rectify historical mistakes.
In the memory of Sahibzadas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi by announcing ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ has given new inspiration to the present generation with what spirit they have to work for the country and religion. Describing the organization of Langar in Gurdwaras as a wonderful tradition of humanity, the CM has also called the Gurmukhi script a symbol of purity. In a special program, while launching the mobile app of Uttar Pradesh Punjabi Academy, the CM also inspired the common man to learn the Gurmukhi script.
In the program, Governor Anandiben Patel called the Sikh tradition the great culture of humanity. He said that the Gurus enlightened us with all the qualities of humanity including faith in religion, sanskar, compassion, and service, and also gave the inspiration to protect the nation and religion.
