Lucknow: The capital police has almost completed preparations for the processions of Moharram. The security system will be higher than before. The ATS will supervise the procession route.
Along with the notification team, various squads (crime branch) will also be vigilant. In addition, police personnel will be equipped with drones and body-war cameras on the ground.
In view of this, SSP Kalanidhi Naithani took a meeting of the in-charge of all the teams and gave them necessary guidelines.
The western region has been divided into five zones and 18 sectors and duties have been done in two shifts. 14 Company PACs, 06 Company RAFs have been set up with 60 Gazetted and about 2500 Non-Gazetted Forces.
The SSP has instructed all the outposts in charge that the night rest will be done in the outpost area itself and no force will leave their area without permission.
All the routes of the procession will be equipped with cameras
In addition to important intersections, sensitive sites, all the routes of the procession will be monitored by CC cameras through the control room.
